The DSSM is an ultra-compact, fully digital, IP57-rated transmitter built for theatre, TV/film and broadcast. It delivers high-density (HDM) mode for maximum channel counts in tight spectrum, D2 compatibility with selectable RF power (50/25/10 mW) plus 4 mW HDM, and AES-256 encryption for secure links. A wide UHF tuning range provides over 6000 frequencies, while the IR port speeds setup, and USB/Wireless Designer supports firmware updates.
The servo-bias input handles mic/line/instrument with a wide 1 dB-step gain range and a dual-envelope limiter that tolerates 30 dB above full modulation for clean peaks. The locking 3-pin sub-mini input, OLED interface, and dock-charge capability (optional CHSDSSM) make it fast and robust on set. The machined aluminium housing uses a conductive, super-hard ebENi finish; a repositionable wire belt clip is included.
