The Microphone Foam for Lavalier Mics by Bubblebee Industries is a precision-engineered acoustic foam windscreen designed to protect miniature lavalier capsules from light wind, vocal plosives, and handling noise. Manufactured from high-grade, acoustically transparent open-cell foam, it delivers critical acoustic attenuation without coloring the sound or muffling delicate high-frequency details.
Unlike standard replacement foams, Bubblebee’s open-cell structure maintains its shape under heavy daily production use while resisting UV degradation and moisture buildup from sweat or humidity. Designed with a snug, elastic inner bore, it stays firmly seated on the capsule during active talent movement, eliminating the risk of slipping off inside clothing layers or costuming mounts.
