The Wisycom BPA54 is a heavy-duty standalone rear panel adapter designed to turn the MCR54 quad receiver into a portable, standalone receiver for location sound bags, camera hops, and studio rigs. It converts the multi-pin slot-in connector of the MCR54 into standard, discrete industry-standard audio outputs and power inputs.
Equipped with two mini-XLR 5-pin female connectors (TA5F) for 4-channel analog or AES3 digital outputs, a 3.5mm headphone jack with dedicated volume control, and a Hirose 4-pin DC power input, the BPA54 provides complete operational autonomy for the receiver outside of a SuperSlot or Unislot dock. Its rugged machined aluminum housing mounts securely to the base of the MCR54, creating a compact, weather-resistant assembly built for demanding field production environments.
