SCHOEPS CUT 60 LOW-CUT FILTER

The Schoeps CUT 60 is an active low-cut filter designed to be placed between the capsule and the microphone amplifier. This filter is designed to prevent disturbances from infrasonic signals from subsequent equipment. With a slope of 24 dB per octave, the filter cuts off frequencies below 60 Hz, which is particularly useful when using pressure-gradient microphones (directional microphones) that can produce very high infrasonic signal levels during wind interference or elastic suspensions.

Key Features

• Effective suppression of infrasonic signals: Prevents disturbances from infrasonic signals in subsequent equipment.
• Suitable for pressure-gradient microphones: Ideal for use with directional microphones that are sensitive to wind noise.
• Steep filter characteristic: Cuts off frequencies below 60 Hz with a slope of 24 dB per octave.

Technical Specifications

• Frequency Range: 60 Hz – 22 kHz.
• Diameter: 20 mm.
• Length: 17 mm.
• Weight: 18 g.

The Schoeps CUT 60 is ideal for applications where suppressing low frequencies is essential for clearer audio signals.
