LOCK UPGRADE KIT for QuickPole 5

In 2023, AMBIENT presented the QuickPole Slim with an improved locking mechanism. Now they also want to make owners of boompoles of the QuickPole 5 series benefit from this masterpiece of engineering. With just a little twist the pole locks tightly and lateral movement is completely prevented.

The assembly is super easy and doesn’t require any tools. See instruction manual!

Please Note: QP5 boompoles shipped from May 2024 already have these new locking mechanism integrated. You only nee the kit for older versions. You recognize the difference when looking at the clamping ring. The older version has 4 segments, the new clamping ring has 8 segments.

Just to be clear: There’s nothing wrong with the QP5 locks before May 2024 – but AMBIENT managed to take another real step forward here.

If you feel that the QP5 locks are not closing tight – this is in the most cases because of skin grease and sweat settling on the tube over time. It helps a lot to clean the tubes and the clamping rings with methylated spirits or 95% alcohol. AMBIENT recommend to clean a pole once at least once a year.
