AUDIOROOT – USB-C power bridge adapter

Historically, running a location sound bag off wall power required carrying a heavy, single-purpose AC-to-DC power brick with proprietary audio connectors. The Audioroot EPSB (USB-C PPS Power Bridge) revolutionizes this workflow by bridging the gap between ubiquitous USB-C IT infrastructure and professional 12V-15V audio ecosystems.

Engineered with an advanced integrated circuit, the EPSB acts as an active protocol trigger. When plugged into a compatible USB-C Power Delivery (PD 3.0) or Programmable Power Supply (PPS) source—such as the eSTUFF 120W, the SIIG 100W Charging Station, or a high-output laptop power bank—the EPSB executes a hardware handshake. It bypasses standard 5V USB output and explicitly commands the power source to deliver a stable, regulated 15V high-current profile.

This 15V output perfectly mimics the nominal voltage of a fully charged Li-Ion eSMART battery. By simply connecting the EPSB, you can power your Audioroot distributor (such as the BG-DU) or your high-draw Sound Devices recorder directly from a standard USB-C wall charger. It is the ultimate lightweight backup solution for demanding documentary shoots, and a clean, consolidated AC-power method for stationary cart setups.
