The Audioroot eSMART Battery has a built-in OLED display for real time display of the battery’s state of charge information, including voltage, current draw, and run time when connected to any type of equipment or DC current distributor without a system management bus (SMBUS).
When powering a device from the battery, the OLED display automatically turns on and displays realtime state of charge information. If the connected device is fully SMBUS compatible, the OLED will not turn on to save power and keep the SMBUS lines free.
The display will shut off once the device is shut down or disconnected. When the battery is disconnected, the OLED can be activated by shaking the battery to display battery capacity, cycle count, and pack temperature.
Audioroot eSMART batteries have an embedded micro controller which handles and records the main parameters of the battery, including identification, type of elements, cycle count, build date, serial numbers and many other parameters. The micro controller monitors the battery’s status and behavior (e.g. power consumption, temperature, voltage) and communicates with the charger to improve the charging process and battery life.
They are compatible with the full range of Audioroot power distribution boxes, such as the eSMART BG-DH MKII, BG-DU, and K-ART.
Available connection cables include the eXLR4-OUT for XLR, eHRS4-OUT for Hirose, or eCON-OUT with no termination.
